Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals were up against each other in the afternoon game at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium where Mumbai won comfortably at the end by 7 wickets. The evening game was between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Narendra Modi stadium where Delhi won the one-sided match by 7 wickets. Let's discuss each match separately. Mumbai won the toss in the first game and decided to bowl first. Mumbai dropped Ishan Kishan and brought in Nathan Coulter-Nile whereas Rajasthan had an unchanged playing 11 from the previous match. Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal opened the inning for Rajasthan and got their team a good start up-front. Buttler was lucky to be dropped in the early overs but he made use of that opportunity and ended up scoring 41 runs before being dismissed by Rahul Chahar. IPL 2021 Match 23: SRH v/s CSK. Chennai win their 5th consecutive match.

Hello everyone and I apologize for being late with the match summary of Chennai Super Kings v/s Sunrisers Hyderabad, the 23rd match of IPL 2021. But better late than never, so here it is. The match was played at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi. David Warner won the toss and decided to bat first and MS Dhoni was happy to bowl first at the surface where we predicted something for the bowlers in the first inning and expected dew to play a role in the second inning. David Warner and Johnny Bairstow opened for Hyderabad but Bairstow was dismissed early for 7 runs by Sam Curran. Manish Pandey and Warner played well for the second wicket and built a strong partnership together but Warner struggled to play his shots. He couldn't score at a quick run rate as many of his well-timed shots went straight to the fielders. Manish showed some intent in his knock as he was brought back in the squad after being dropped for two matches. Both of them went on to make their half-centuries as Warne...

IPL 2021 Match 22: DC v/s RCB. Bangalore move to the top spot after winning their fifth match.

Hello everyone and thank you for joining again for another match summary. The 22nd match was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals at Narendra Modi stadium. Delhi won the toss and decided to bowl first and they would have expected dew to come down just like the match the day before but there was no dew in this game and Bangalore held their nerves well as the match went to the last ball and they won by 1 run. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Paddikal opened the inning for Bangalore and the two made 25 runs in 3 overs. But Avesh Khan bowled Kohli on the last ball of the 4th over and Kohli went back after making 12 runs. Ishant Sharma bowled Paddikal on the first ball of the 5th over and Paddikal went back after making 17 runs. Glenn Maxwell hit a few boundaries and looked good but was dismissed on 25 runs. Bangalore was 3 wickets down on 60 runs at that stage. Rajat Patidar and AB de Villiers next put up a good partnership and the two added 54 runs for the 4th wicket befor...

IPL 2021 Match 21: PBKS v/s KKR. Kolkata finally win a match.

Hello everyone and thank you for coming to read the match summary of match 21 of the IPL 2021. Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders played this match on the Narendra Modi stadium and Kolkata won the lucky toss and they decided to bowl first. Kolkata went with an unchanged team while Punjab made just one change and brought in Chris Jordan on Fabian Allen's place. The match was a low scoring one and Kolkata got a much-needed victory at the end.  KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal opened the batting for Punjab and they couldn't score freely in the power play overs. KL was dismissed in the 6th over on 19 runs but Punjab had just 36 runs on the board at that stage. Mayank played 34 balls but scored only 31 runs and was dismissed by Sunil Narine. IPL 2021 Matches 19 & 20: RCB v/s CSK & SRH v/s DC. Chennai and Delhi move to the number 1 and 2 spot on the points table.

Hello everyone. We had 2 back-to-back IPL matches on 25th April. The 19th match was played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Wankhede stadium and Chennai won the match by 69 runs and regained the top spot on the points table. The 20th match was played between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at MA Chidambaram stadium and Delhi won the match in the super over in a very exciting contest. Talking first about the afternoon match, Chennai won the toss and decided to bat first. Dhoni took the call as he predicted that the wicket would get slow in the later stage of the game and he wanted to get runs on the board up-front. Chennai got a very good start by its openers as Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 33 runs and Faf du Plessis scored 50 runs. Suresh Raina at number 3 scored 24 runs before getting out and the game slowed down a bit at that stage. But Daniel Christian and Bangalore regretted dropping Ravindra Jadeja catch on 0 as he hit 37 runs in the 20th over and Ch...

IPL 2021 Match 18: KKR v/s RR. Kolkata just can't find a way to win.

Hello everyone and thank you for coming to read the summary of match 18 of the IPL 2021 that was played between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders. Both the teams needed a win desperately and Rajasthan won this match to win after 2 consecutive losses. For Kolkata, it was their 4th consecutive loss. And the team looks in a very bad state. Talking from the beginning, Rajasthan won the toss and asked Kolkata to bat first at the Wankhede stadium. Shubhman Gill and Nitish Rana opened the inning for Kolkata and they got the worst start they could have dreamed of. Neither of the two openers could get going at any stage of the game and they struggled to time the ball. Shubhman Gill was run-out in the 6th over and he made just 11 runs in 19 balls. Kolkata was at 24 runs at that stage. Nitish Rana got out in the 9th over and he made 22 runs in 25 runs. Kolkata had 45 runs on board then. And Kolkata never recovered from there. Rahul Tripathi made 36 runs but he struggled too and Dinesh Ka...

IPL 2021 Match 17: MI v/s PBKS. Mumbai's middle order disappoints once again.

Hello everyone and thanks for reading this summary of match 17 of the Dream 11 IPL 2021. Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings were up against each other and both teams needed a win in this match. Punjab won the toss and elected to bowl first at the MA Chidambaram stadium. Mumbai needed to put runs on the board for their bowlers to defend as its middle order had failed in the previous matches and wasn't helping the bowlers. Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Cock opened the inning for Mumbai but Quinton was dismissed by Deepak Hooda in the second over of the match. Mumbai surprisingly sent Ishan Kishan before Suryakumar Yadav but he too couldn't do much and was dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi in the 7th over. Mumbai only had 21 runs on board in the powerplay and things looked difficult for them from there but Suryakumar and Rohit built a strong partnership after that. Suryakumar scored 33 runs before being dismissed and the stage was set for the middle-order batsmen. But none of Kieron Pollard, H...

Hello everyone once again. Let's talk about the match 13 of the tournament that was played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. Both teams had won their last matches and wanted to continue the winning spree but only one of them managed that after this match and it was the Delhi Capitals.  Rohit Sharma won the toss at the MA Chidambaram stadium and decided to bat first. He and Quinton de Cock opened the batting for Mumbai. But Quinton was dismissed on 2 runs by Marcus Stoinis in the 3rd over of the match. Suryakumar Yadav came in next and started playing his shots. Rohit too looked in good touch and was hitting his shots well. But both the batsmen were dismissed just when they looked set to go big. Hardik Pandya was dismissed by Amit Mishra in the same over that he got the wicket of Rohit. His brother, Krunal Pandya too didn'...
