TVF Apirants- Pre Mains Aur Life: The star cast and the story.

TVF Aspirants is a story of every person who has dared to dream, who has made efforts to achieve that dream, who had to make sacrifices on the way, who made new relationships in the journey and broke a few ones to stay true to his dreams, who had to experience failures multiple times and still remained resilient. TVF Aspirants is a web series of multiple people, some who realized their dreams, some who had to follow a Plan B and some who had to let go of everything altogether and change track for something else.
TVF Aspirants
Meet Abhilash Sharma (played by Naveen Kasturia), the one who goes on to crack UPSC and become an IAS officer. He came to Rajendra Nagar in Delhi during his 4th attempt by taking a sabbatical from his job. He had cleared Prelims before as well but wanted to clear the whole process in the last attempt. He went through a complete changeover in the show as he stopped being negative all the time and adopted positive mindset. He even broke up with his girlfriend, Dhairya who he met at his coaching center and both prepared for the exam together. He thought that he needed to let go of his job and Dhairya to be able to stay full focused for the exam. He still failed to clear the exam and had to go back to get a new job as he thought he had failed to fulfill his dream. It's only in the final episode of the series that it is declared that the Government increased the number of attempts for UPSC from 4 to 6 in that very year and he went back to prepare again and finally managed to crack the exam and became an IAS officer.
Abhilash Sharma
Next is Dhairya (played by Namita Dubey), Abhilash's girlfriend from the series who he broke up with. Her dream was to serve in the rural areas, irrespective of whether she does that as an IAS officer or not. She doesn't clear the UPSC exam but fulfilled her dream of serving in the rural areas through her NGO. It was during her time with NGO that she met Abhilash's friend Guri again and they both married each other in the final episode. When Abhilash came to know about Guri and Dhairya getting married to each other, he could not handle it well. It took him a lot of time but he finally had an epiphany in the last episode where he accepted it and even attended their marriage.
Dhairya
Since Guri (played by Shivankit Singh Parihar) was brought up above, let's talk about him next. He was Abhilash's friend from childhood and he, Abhilash and SK were called tripod since the three were such good friends. We'll talk about SK next. Guri too couldn't clear UPSC and started his own shoe company. Guri was also preparing at Rajendra Nagar along with Abhilash and he had kept his hearing disorder hidden from everybody except Abhilash and SK. Abhilash discloses about it in front of everyone after he failed to clear the exam as Guri was going to get two more attempts in the Person with Disability reservation (PWD) quota. The two had a fight because of that and they didn't talk to each other for 5-6 years after that. It was only when Guri came to Delhi to invite SK to his wedding that he met Abhilash too and he disclosed about his marriage to him as well. The two gave up the grudge against each other in the final episode when Abhilash comes to his wedding.
Guri
SK or Shwetketu (played by Abhilash Thapliyal) is the third leg of the tripod and he's like the glue who binds the three friends in the friendship. After the fight between Guri and Abhilash, he made countless attempts to get things sorted between the two but he kept failing. Abhilash could not let go of his ego, neither could he accept that Guri and Dhairya were going to marry. He also couldn't become an IAS and eventually became a teacher at one of the coaching centers of UPSC preparations. Even though he couldn't become an IAS himself, he taught many students who became IAS officers. The way he tries to bring his two friends back together once again even after being unsuccessful so many times is something to watch out for in the series. His smile is the widest when Abhilash finally shows up to Guri's wedding.
Shwetketu
The last main character of the show is Sandeep (played by Sunny Hinduja). Everyone calls him Sandeep bhaiya out of respect. He failed to clear UPSC in his 3rd attempt by 1 mark and he had to go for another attempt. He reveals to Abhilash in the 4th episode that his family is financially struggling and hence he couldn't afford coaching classes. UPSC was his ultimate goal and he never kept a Plan B because of it because he thought that Plan B would be a distraction and that Plan B is for losers. He also doesn't clear UPSC and it's shown in the final episode that he became an Assistant Labour Commissioner after clearing the PCS exam. He meets Abhilash after many years and tells him how he didn't marry his fiancee as he couldn't dare to go back to her after failing to clear the exam. He ended up clearing the PCS exam and became a reputable officer but he shares how alone he feels as he doesn't have people around him who love him and with whom he could celebrate his success. He explains that he later realized that he was wrong about not having a Plan B as Plan B is actually to increase balance in one's life. He makes Abhilash realize that fulfilling a dream by losing your parents, friends, love and other relations is never worth it. His rain scene at the end of the 4th episode when he fails to clear the exam was enough to make anybody emotional and feel for him or relate with him. But the hug between him and Abhilash in the final episode is truly the best scene in the whole series. Even though Abhilash is the main character of the show, the real star is Sandeep bhaiya as Sunny played his character so well throughout.
Sandeep bhaiya
There were many other characters in the show as well. Kuljeet Singh played the role of Walia uncle, the landlord of Abhilash, and Bijou Thaangjam played Pema Rijiju, another UPSC aspirant in the show who was passionate about rap songs more than UPSC.

TVF has made many awesome shows before Aspirants. Kota Factory, Tripling, Pitchers and Permanent Roommates are some of the best ones made by them. But Aspirants is certainly on top of all of those series. It's an epic series which would take you to an adventure of your days of struggle. Unacademy and TVF did an amazing job by making such a series. TVF truly deserve to have their subscribers count increased now. If you haven't subscribed to TVF already, do it now.
