Sebamed and Fevicol know their advertising strategies for sure!

Hello readers. I thought it's time for a new article where we discuss a couple of new advertisements that are going to be the talk of the town for a few weeks.

I hope that you all remember that in my previous blog, I had mentioned about Sebamed's ad for its soap, where it took direct names of some of the HUL's most famous and widely used soaps, calling them unsafe for the skin because of their high pH level. Guess what, Sebamed is back with a new ad. This time not for its soap though, but for its shampoo. Click here to watch the ad. Here again, they encourage the customers to understand the technicalities of the product by pointing out the importance of the pH 5.5 of its shampoo and the NHE formula which activates the scalp's blood circulation to reduce hairloss by supporting hair growth and strengthening its structure. This time, they didn't call out any competitor's product but stuck with their claim of not trusting celebrities or anybody else for the recommendations for a perfect shampoo, but instead to listen to experts alone.

I believe that by taking HUL's name directly in their last ad, they succeeded in their strategy of getting attention from people and hence this time, they went ahead without taking any names. Well done Sebamed, 2 on 2 for you.

Let's move onto the next ad now. Kyuki chehrey par mask and do gaz ki doori, abhi v hai bohot zaroori, Fevicol thought why not they come up with a social awareness ad about it. And their ad is as amazing as their product is. You got to see it yourself to acknowledge its awesomeness. On a serious note, let's acknowledge the spike in COVID cases and understand that it's the second wave of the virus and taking adequate precautions is utmost important yet again. Uddhav Thackeray, CM of Maharashtra has already asked the officials in the state to prepare for another lockdown as the public doesn't seem to be following the COVID guidelines. It won't be surprising if some of the other states too decide to follow suit.

Lastly, I can't end this article without talking about the 3rd ODI match played between India and England that just ended a few hours back. That was a nail biting series finale with the match going till the last ball, and India managing to whitewash England with the trophy win in all the three formats. England didn't win any trophy on this tour, but some of their players surely won our hearts. And today, it was the youngest cub of the CSK's den, Sam Curran, who didn't give up till the end and gave us all goosebumps till the last ball of the match. It feels bad that he didn't get to his century, but his 95* is no less than any brilliant innings in the recent times and it's just a glimpse of the capable player that he is currently and will be for the England cricket team for many years.
